30 minutes ago, I came across this blog , JULIA IN THE PHILIPPINES , about an American Peace Corps volunteer and her adventure in my hometown Philippines. I have always been interested about what foreigners would say about my country...Her name by the way is Julia Campbell.
I read and read and read starting from her first post onwards and enjoyed every minute of it. It's nice too how she would use some tagalog words on her blog like an expert.
Her last blog was on January 13, 2007 and I want more!
"Where's the rest of her blog?" I wonder...
Then I saw there were 347 comments that gave me hope. I figured there might be information there that would lead me to her new blog somewhere else but... I was wrong.
I learned that she died in Banaue, Philippines.
And the worst thing was, she was killed by a Filipino .
I don't know why, for some reason it made me cry a little bit. :(
I wish she knew how reading her blog gave me some sort of happiness even if it's for 30 minutes only....
